Facebook gives $10m in Free Advertising to Small Business

Facebook on MashMineFacebook have developed a new program to engage small businesses in using the famous social network by donating $10million worth of free advertising. The program, Facebook Marketing Solutions, which includes a partnership with the National Federation of Independent Business and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will roll out over the next few months. In early 2012, Facebook will give each approved small business a minimum of $50 in free advertising for Facebook Ads.

Also promised by the Facebook team is free resources and information on how to market yourself on Facebook. The guys at Facebook will be sending their Marketing reps our to meet small business owners and entrepreneurs face to face to assist them. The main aim of the program is to engage small business owners in becoming socially aware online and introduce them to the necessity of social networking in the modern business world.
