At Last, A Touchscreen Keyboard

ABC Keyboard DesignDesigner Iaroslav Neliubov recently designed a touchscreen keyboard to bring the world of tablets and mobile devices to the desktop environment. The concept is simple, the design is sleek, and the execution is superb. It’s not the first time the idea of a touchscreen keyboard has been conceptualized, but it’s probably the first the time such a unique gadget has actually been brought to the market, Mashable can even be quoted as having said that the this is “the keyboard of the future”.

The keyboard features a full touchscreen surface for command, and can be configured to read any language the user likes, with fully customizable keys. There is built in memory storage units, allowing for SD card reading, not to mention USB ports to make your device an external USB hub to your main desktop. Also featured is a built in CD/DVD drive, but one of the coolest features has to be the slick way a user can switch color schemes at the simple click of a button.

“As you can see that the Keyboard “ABC” has a pretty glossy finish and looks like a total glam-doll! Let’s just dive into the USP; it sports a complete touch surface and can be configured to any language with customized keys. What’s really cool is that you can change the keyboard color at whim and it works well for the left-handers too. It seems to be an LCD screen for the keyboard, with built-in memory for storing files. Now that is a good feature to have. My only two grouse: saving the board from fingerprints and if it can have the Apple keyboard-esque tilt.”
